Jazz Communion Service – Sunday, May 4

Please join us on Sunday, May 4 at 10 a.m. for our first-ever Jazz Communion Service, when the sanctuary will be filled with soulful jazz music. Music Director Nate Zullinger and our Chancel Choir will be accompanied by the artful sounds of Wildewood Jazz. The band will contribute music throughout worship, playing pieces by jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, as well as swing-inspired accompaniments to our hymns joining the Chancel Choir. In addition to our own Mark Annati, the band’s drummer, the group includes Ed Grilli on guitar, Bob Goldberg on bass, and saxophonist Steve Brown. Many of you will remember Wildewood Jazz from their exciting performance at the Bidding Bakeoff Bonanza in February, and we are grateful that they are once again sharing their talents with us.
