Church Family Calls June 8
Celebration Sunday!
“Sharing the Good News… Let it Shine!”

Sharing the Good News will be the focus of our Celebration
Sunday festivities on June 8th. In a spirited, intergenerational
worship service we will praise and give thanks to
God, through story and action, prayer and song. This will be
a family affair, with members of all ages taking an active part in worship.
Many people have contributed news clips to United
Church’s “newspaper”, The Christian Reporter. Their headlines
will be posted all around the church- headlines of the
Good News of Jesus Christ- news that our “reporters” believe
has made a difference in their lives and could change the
world!

“Lights of Kindness Appear”
“Son of God Sets Forth ‘Words to Live By”
“Through the Ages, God Is Present!”
“God’s Infinite Plan Works!”

These are just a few of the headlines submitted by press time,
today. Besides family story telling, the children’s choirs will
provide music, and the Beatitudes, our new drumming circle,
will make its debut! Following worship, there will be coffee
and treats in Bradford Lewis Hall and an art exhibit of works
proclaiming the Good News. Everyone is invited. Come help
us share the Good News! Worship will begin at 9:30AM
