“Gladly our songs of thanksgiving we raise!”

A historic first – a joint Sunday morning worship service with another UCC congregation in our own sanctuary. On Thanksgiving Sunday, we welcomed the pastor, choir, and congregation of First Parish Westwood. During the last several years our choirs have had a significant relationship, jointly preparing and presenting several afternoon concerts. On this day, in the spirit of Christian unity, we welcomed them to join with us in worship and thanksgiving. It was truly thrilling to see two different communities of faith filling our sanctuary, to share in worship, to hear festive music of thanksgiving and praise.  The service included a string quartet and two trumpets!.
