Preamble of Pursuit (POP)*

We the people of Pursuit, in order to promote an amicable atmosphere, do ordain this covenant to

Exude acceptance conductive
Generate discussion productive,
Reserve criticism unconstructive,
Make fear not condoned,
Create a drug-free zone,
Resolve to have fun,
Respect everyone,
Participate ‘til all is done,
Prevent disgrace,
Deserve God’s grace,
And just generally make Pursuit a happy place.

Behavior:

1. Discourage fear
2. Prohibit alcohol/ illegal drugs
3. Be kind, patient, understanding, respectful, good listeners, and cooperate
4. NO profanity
5. Be human- it is ok to make mistakes, encourage learning from mistakes (constructive NOT destructive criticism)
6. Speak only for yourself

Participation:

1. Positive attitude
2. All inclusive
3. Open-mindedness, reach beyond your comfort zone, and encourage involvement (try new things and be actively involved)
4. No PDA (public display of affection)
5. Dress Code Common Sense
6. Cell Phone Courtesy (turn it off during Pursuit)
