Sunday Morning Child Care

United Church in Walpole welcomes all children, ages infant through two years, to our child care program. Childcare is available every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 11:15 AM. The childcare room is located on the first floor, Room 4&6, directly beneath the sanctuary. The room is an inviting space with quiet music and age appropriate toys available. You and your child will be greeted by two adult caregivers. You are welcome to stay until your child is comfortable, then go to worship, knowing that your child is in good hands.

Caring for these children, the youngest in our church school, provides the first experience they will have in church. This introduction is important. Our goal is to provide a comforting, enjoyable and secure place for them while their parents attend worship. Our staff of caregivers is a group of volunteers, parents and other members of the church, who enjoy working with small children. In keeping with our Safe Church Policy, the caregivers are over 18 years of age and have been associated with the church for at least six months.

Parents and caregivers, working together, can insure that the children’s time at United Church will be safe and pleasurable.
